Hydrogen + Hydrogen Peroxide
EIREX uses hydrodynamic cavitation to co-produce hydrogen and hydrogen peroxide directly from water. It is a mechanical, non-electrolytic route, built to run on-site and on-demand, and it draws on more than 23 years of cavitation research across four prototypes.
Most hydrogen routes make one product. Ours makes two.
Every unit of hydrogen comes with a large stream of hydrogen peroxide, a valuable industrial chemical used in electronics, water treatment, pulp and paper, and chemical synthesis. That co-product is central to the economics and to the fit with industry.
Known chemistry. Our reactor.
Collapse
Intense cavitation collapse creates the local conditions that break water's molecular bonds.
Separate
A proprietary reactor geometry and an electric field separate the two products.
Proven science
The underlying chemistry is documented in peer-reviewed sonochemistry literature. Our contribution is the reactor, refined over 23 years.
Built to sit where the chemicals are used.
Dual product
Hydrogen and hydrogen peroxide from a single unit.
On-site, on-demand
Produced where it is used, with minimal storage and no distribution network.
Modular, scalable
Designs from 50 to 5,000 kg/hr.
Water-flexible
Runs on water of varying quality, including seawater.
No rare materials
A standard balance of plant.
We'd rather share measured data than estimates.
The hydrogen and peroxide unit is at pilot stage. We are building and instrumenting it to measure yield, energy balance, and peroxide purity with third-party validation.
